Paths and Pathfinders Program
The Program | The Exhibit | Honorees Past & Present

Paths and Pathfinders: Women of Mission to collect, preserve, and provide access to materials which document the lives and contributions of women, past and present, in the District of Mission, Hatzic Prairie, Hatzic Island, Dewdney, Deroche, Nicomen Island, Lake Errock and McConnell Creek.

A key part of this program is the Annual Women of Mission Gala which is held in October to acknowledge both the exceptional and every day real life contributions of women to our economic, political, and social history; and to promote awareness, appreciation, and understanding of women's history within our community.

Since its inauguration in 1996, the Community Archives has built its holdings on and recognized 111 women who have helped shape the community. Click here to find out who they are.

The year 2020 marks the 25th anniversary of the Paths & Pathfinders: Women of Mission Program and nominations for this year's honourees are being accepted until March 31st.
